it would be an interesting idea if the United States joined so many other developed nations and provided public health Care to all of its citizens, all of the time.
Our healthcare system is a joke; most cannot afford to have healthcare so medical issues go untreated. I am fortunate in that I can take care of my sister-in-law as she is unable to work and has no healthcare, so I pay out of pocket to house her and to help in her care. Most cannot do that so just live with medical issues. And congress will get free healthcare for life. It’s ridiculous. Surly we can do better.
Socialism.....the streets we drive on, fire and police departments, libraries, public schools, Community Service Districts, i.e. your water, etc.,etc. Do not use any of those services if you distain socialism. Community and the common good is considered socialism. How sick is. that!
I just retired from nursing after fifty-two years in high acuity. I blame the shareholders of the stock too. Greed all around. There are certain generations that are super selfish and lie like crazy. They believe they're super entitled because they "survived" the Depression and fought WWll. I'm so tried of politicians. No one can be trusted. Washington DC is" Hollywood for Ugly People' and frat boy behavior.

And BS/BC/Anthem is the worst! They take time to approve or deny claims for hospitalized patients because they are hoping the patient gets frustrated with waiting and leaves, the they can say the patient went ama and deny claims and any other future claims related to the denial.
what if we all quit paying our insurance premium dropped it. everybody in United States, what would happen? you still go to the doctor you still go to the hospital and pay what you can and flip them off on the rest.
"Universal Healthcare. Fuck It." What a great campaign slogan. Add the personal, real-life stories speaking about costs, denials, debt, etc., until the messaging about this scam and its impact on Americans is clear.
Strip it down......our politicans who could legislate this Improved Medicare for All into law are bought by the health insurance industry....that is the hang up.
unfortunately in Australia you cannot just opt out, for every year you don't have private health insurance after the age of 30 you pay an increasing levee through your tax return. very low income people are exempt.
