Protestors BLAST MUSIC and DISRUPT ICE’s Violence

Across the country, protesters are turning grief and defiance into song– and the Singing Resistance is spreading fast.

A few weeks ago, we shared videos of protesters breaking into song during ICE actions– and the response was overwhelming. It turns out people are hungry for resistance that feels human again. Since then, the Singing Resistance has only grown, with activists across the country using music to express grief, build solidarity, and refuse the fear that authoritarianism depends on. What started organically has now become intentional, organized, and deeply moving.

In today’s Dangerous News Break, we share powerful clips from Minneapolis, Wisconsin, New York, and beyond– and spotlight the organizers and artists who are helping turn song into strategy. This isn’t about performance. It’s about community. It’s about reminding each other that resistance doesn’t always roar - sometimes it harmonizes. Watch the episode, share it widely, and if you’re looking for a way to bring courage and connection into your own community, consider raising your voice.
