Hello, Danger Corps! Or as our friends in Italy say, Buongiorno, Danger Corps! đŽđš
Itâs Friday, August 21, 2026, and apparently the White House ballroom has enlisted.
Trump is promising an âeconomic D-Dayâ against Iran as the war approaches six months, because nothing says âwe have this completely under controlâ like naming your sanctions package after the largest amphibious invasion in history.
Meanwhile, Justice Department investigators are seeking voluntary interviews with FBI officials involved in the 2022 Mar-a-Lago search as part of a broader probe into whether Trump was targeted by a criminal conspiracy. The resort where agents found more than 100 classified documents is getting a sequelâexcept this time, Trumpâs DOJ has recast the FBI as the villain.
And the Supreme Court could decide today whether construction may continue on Trumpâs $400 million, 90,000-square-foot White House ballroom, which his administration now says is part of an âintegrated military complex.â Finally, a venue where you can launch a drone strike and cut a wedding cake without changing rooms.
While Washington weaponizes sanctions, law enforcement and possibly the cha-cha slide, we thought you could use a laugh. đ
Letâs get dangerous!

đJosh from Pennsylvania takes a minute to remind us of the irony of Trump accusing Jeanine Pirro of not being able to fold an umbrella, when Trumpâs lack of umbrella-skills is more than apparent âď¸đâď¸đđ
This EPSTEIN Interview Will Make You FURIOUS
Our interview with Senator Ron Wyden about his officeâs 67-page report about the failure of the Wall Street banks to blow the whistle on Jeffrey Epstein.
His MAGA Dad Insulted Him. Then He Touched the Wi-Fi
Jim, Tiffany, and Nick react to three political family stories involving a MAGA dad, an IT-savvy son, a woman finally drawing boundaries with her conservative family, and a Trump supporter discovering that government services can actually be pretty damn useful.
Great question Denise! It enrages us when we have to talk about him too đđŻ What do you think Danger Corps? Do you think the media should give him the attention and grace him with their presence, or should they just stop giving him a platform to brag about lies? Do you think we even get useful information from those plane interviews, or any interview for that matter? đ¤Ł
We can all see heâs constantly hungry: for McDonalds AND a spotlight. He shouldâve been in show-biz for how much attention he demands. Lucky for us, he canât dance! 𤣠If it was me Iâd take a hard pass on the flight and just try to get some pictures of him waddling up the stairs đ
Weâre spreading laughter because we believe laughter and activism are two of the most powerful tools in the fight for democracy. People need more than another reason to feel angry or afraid. They need a place to laugh, tell the truth and remember they arenât alone.
Thatâs what weâre building with The Dangerous Ones, and we need your help.
The number one way to support our work is to become a paid subscriber. Your subscription helps us make more episodes, reach more people and grow an independent pro-democracy community that canât be bought, bullied or silenced.
If weâve ever made a hard day easier or reminded you that your voice matters, please join us.
Letâs get into some good trouble together. đ
Warmly,
Jim, Tiffany & Nick
