Hello, Danger Corps! It’s Friday, August 28, 2026, and Donald Trump has somehow turned war, voting and stealing a Canadian lake into one coherent governing strategy.
Six months after Trump sold the U.S.-Israel war with Iran as a short excursion, the conflict is still grinding on, direct U.S. costs have reportedly surpassed $37.5 billion, and Trump posted “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED 2026” because apparently the Iraq sequel needed the same marketing campaign.
Back home, a federal judge blocked the administration’s new mail-ballot restrictions for 14 days, preventing the Postal Service from potentially disrupting ballots just before the midterms. And while all that was happening, Trump signed an executive order directing the federal government to call Lake Ontario “Lake America.” Canada is not required to play along, because a Sharpie apparently loses its diplomatic authority at the border.
While we wait for somebody to hide the rest of the maps, we thought you could use a laugh!! 😂
