Hello, Danger Corps! Or, as our friends in Italy say, Ciao, Danger Corps! 🇮🇹 It’s Saturday, August 22, 2026, and apparently Trump woke up determined to piss off Canada, Iran and basic architecture before brunch.
The United States officially slapped 50% tariffs on $20 billion worth of Canadian products, so Canada announced dollar-for-dollar retaliation. The endangered imports include hockey sticks and tongue depressors, making this the world’s dumbest hostage negotiation. Meanwhile, Trump’s idiotic war with Iran is approaching six months, more than 750 American service members have been wounded, and oil traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has nearly stopped. And because the national nightmare needed a gift shop, Chief Justice John Roberts temporarily allowed construction to continue on Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom-slash-military complex while the Supreme Court considers the case.
But here’s what keeps us going: one glorious day, Donald Trump will leave office. On that day, we’ll celebrate and also open the bags LeeAnn from California sent us. If you don’t know, Danger Corps member LeeAnn sent us each brown paper bag filled with unknown items that we will open on the day he leaves office. LeeAnn, we cant wait!
