Hello, Danger Corps! It’s Tuesday, August 25, 2026, and somehow Trump is picking fights with voting rights, Canada and the entire asylum system, all at the same damn time!
First up, the Supreme Court’s conservative majority lifted one of the injunctions blocking Trump’s mail-voting order, which could make it harder for people to vote by mail before the midterms. Another injunction is still holding up the Postal Service portion, so this fight isn’t over. But it’s absolutely insane that we’re fighting it at all.
Then, there’s Canada. After Trump slapped 50% tariffs on Canadian goods, Canada fired back with tariffs on roughly $20 billion worth of American products, including steel, dairy, clothing, cosmetics and, yes, toilet paper. So congratulations, everyone: Trump’s economic genius may soon make wiping your ass more expensive.
And finally, his administration is preparing to revoke as many as 200,000 business and tourist visas belonging to people who applied for asylum. If it happens, it would be the largest mass visa revocation in American history.
So yeah…things are going great. LOL!
But while the courts battle Trump, Canada raids the tariff cabinet and the rest of us quietly price-check toilet paper, we thought you could use a laugh. 😂
