Darth Vader Takes On San Diego’s Surveillance State

The Empire finally found a camera system it loves.

Hello Danger Corps!

Anthony Ralphs spent months showing up to government meetings, researching the issues, and making perfectly reasonable arguments about San Diego’s Flock surveillance cameras. Apparently, reason had entered airplane mode. So he found an old Darth Vader helmet, put on a cape, and explained why the Empire absolutely loves tracking “rebel scum” through playgrounds, pools, and city streets. Millions of views later, people who had never heard of Flock cameras were suddenly asking why private surveillance technology was following them around town. Funny how democracy starts listening once somebody brings a Sith Lord.

If this episode made you laugh and also made you want to inspect every lamppost on your block, that is the strange little lane we’re trying to own. Laughter and activism belong together, especially when the people in power would prefer us exhausted, isolated, and quiet.

The #1 way to support The Dangerous Ones is to become a paid subscriber. Your support helps us make more independent pro-democracy comedy, reach more people, protect our creative freedom, and keep building a Danger Corps community where truth, joy, and belonging can exist in the same damn room. If that matters to you, we’d love to have you with us.

Let’s keep laughing, keep watching, and keep getting into good trouble. 💙
