A new AP-NORC poll finds Americans overwhelmingly want change in Washington, with Trump facing widespread dissatisfaction over the economy, his leadership, and the war with Iran. Meanwhile, September inflation reached 3.7%, with energy prices helping drive costs higher while workers’ paychecks struggle to keep up. Apparently, the administration’s affordability plan is to keep explaining why everything costs more until we all forget what affordable means. And with the midterms approaching, House Democrats are preparing a first-100-days agenda addressing health care, tariffs, and affordability, alongside potential investigations into the Trump administration. Republicans are busy defending their record while Democrats are getting their oversight paperwork ready. Somebody might want to check the office shredder.
