Hello, Danger Corps! It’s Tuesday, October 20, 2026, and people everywhere seem to have discovered that their voices work just fine without permission from the people in charge!
Saturday’s No Kings: Vote Early movement reached all 50 states and Washington, D.C., with approximately 2,500 events planned nationwide. From big cities to small towns, Americans gathered to protest, defend their rights, and encourage participation in the November 3 midterms. The movement’s message was clear: Americans have plenty to say, and they’re not limiting themselves to the comment section!
And it’s not just America! Young people are helping lead a growing wave of demonstrations around the world, challenging their governments and demanding change. Countries experiencing recent protests include:
France • Albania • Italy • Spain • Portugal • Belgium • Serbia • Greece • Argentina
Meanwhile, early voting numbers are getting interesting! In North Carolina, turnout through October 18 was up 37% compared with the same point in the 2022 midterms, with registered Democrats casting approximately 240,000 early ballots compared with 103,000 from registered Republicans. Those numbers don’t tell us who anyone voted for, but they do show that plenty of people aren’t waiting until Election Day to make their voices count.
While we wait for November 3, we thought you could use a laugh!! 😂
We’ve got memes, No Kings pictures from the Danger Corps sprinkled throughout the letter, calls, episode links, and plenty of Dangerous fun ahead. Because when the people have this much to say, there’s no shortage of material!
