Republicans are sitting on roughly $1 billion for the midterms, yet some inside the party are reportedly worried all that cash still may not be enough to overcome Trump’s numbers, affordability concerns, and the fallout from the Iran war. Meanwhile, Trump spent Wednesday promoting Trump Accounts, investment accounts that eligible American kids now automatically receive. Parents still have to claim them, and only children born from 2025 through 2028 qualify for the government’s $1,000 seed money. So congratulations, kids: you have a portfolio before some of us have figured out where our grocery money went. And over at FEMA, disaster relief is increasingly showing up alongside Trump’s midterm campaigning, including remarks tying federal help to Republican candidates. Nothing says “emergency management” quite like checking the electoral map before the weather map.
While we wait for Washington to discover a problem that doesn’t involve a campaign contribution, we thought you could use a laugh!! 😂
