Hello Danger Corps!
This week, we sat down for a long-overdue Dangerous Conversation about what has really been happening behind the scenes at TDO. The short version: we’re growing, we’re learning, we’re adjusting, and yes, there are a few tiny fires rolling around the studio floor in little clown shoes. But the big picture is exciting. The Really American partnership has changed our production schedule in a major way, the team is growing, the Hotline is becoming a bigger part of the show, and we’re building a new audio division that will let us tell stories in a way that doesn’t always depend on memes, videos, and our faces reacting to America’s latest flaming shopping cart.
This members-only conversation is about the future: livestreams coming back, better membership benefits, the possibility of a private Danger Corps room, more direct access to us, and the first public tease of Dr. Rod Berger joining the TDO universe. We wanted our members to hear it first because you are the people helping us keep this whole weird, joyful, pro-democracy machine alive.
If you’re not a paid member yet, this is a really good time to join. Your support helps keep the lights on, helps us make better shows, and helps us build the community side of TDO into something that feels less like yelling into the internet and more like pulling up a chair with people who actually get it. Laughter really is medicine, but unfortunately microphones, editors, software, and electricity do not accept vibes as payment.
