Twenty-five years ago, the world stopped. In this episode, we share where we were on 9/11, from a college classroom in New York to a Red Bull route in Oregon to a new mom trying to figure out why every channel suddenly looked like the same terrifying movie. Then you called, and damn, you brought stories that remind us this was never just history on a screen. It was Ground Zero volunteers, military families, near misses, unbearable loss, and people still carrying that day in their bones.
We are so grateful to everyone who trusted us with these memories. Laughter and activism belong together, but so does making room for grief, truth, and the stories that remind us why democracy and community matter.
